Chemical Engineering : Chemical Prices & Products

FIND CHEMICAL PRICES

We do not subscribe to ICIS current prices. But, for historical chemical prices:  ICIS student page

ICIS AMERICAS CHEMICALS OUTLOOK 2016

Another resource: Chemical Week can be accessed via the Library’s e-Journals A-Z list. You can search issues of Chemical Week by choosing from an option that will be listed.  Businesss Source Premier will be your best option to access Chemical Week since it lists CW Price Report for current years. You can perform a search for your substance to get price reports.

Another option available via our e-Journals A-Z list is Chemical Engineering. This journal has a section: Current Economic Indicators. You can access Chemical Engineering via Proquest Central. For instance, you can search for "your product" AND "economic indicators".

We also subscribe to the Chemical Abstracts database called SciFinder Scholar.  Look up the substance by using the “Substance Identifier” feature. On the results page of a substance search, view the option “Get Commercial Sources”--find the manufacturer then go to that commercial supplier’s website. Suppliers are often willing to give price data.
