Reference Resources

In addition to primary sources and secondary works, the libraries also have specialized encyclopedias and dictionaries that can help identify events, people, concepts, and trends, as well as statistical information. Some of these resources are available online (as e-books) or in print.  There are large collections from publishers, as well as just individual titles.  Reference librarians will be glad to help you identify any that can help with your research.  Below is just a sampling of some of the resources available. Reference resources can also be found on the Reference Shelf.
