Education Support: Explore Services

There are many ways we can help with teaching and learning. Explore some options here.

Guest Lecturing

In this mode, our librarians collaborate with faculty & instructors to personalize teaching and help students research for a specific course or assignment.

This support is tailored to a specific discipline, goal, audience(s), or at a select point of need.  It can also target a specific tool or library resource needed for a project.

In-Depth Consultation

Individual conferences provide an opportunity to discuss research and information needs with a reference librarian. These can be especially helpful for major research projects, theses, and dissertations.

Please contact Ethan Pullman, Library Instruction Coordinator if you have library tour requests.

If you require any other instructional service, please contact your liaison librarian.  If you are unsure, please contact one of the following reference desks and they can make the proper referral:

Library Tours

Designed to familiarize library users with the University Libraries,  orientations acquaint students with our collections, services, and policies.  All freshman and graduate students have the opportunity to participate in general tours which are offered during orientation week in the fall and spring, but tailored tours can be requested at any time.
