Iranian master drummer visits the Carnegie Mellon School of Music

Mr. Mohammad Ghavihelm will be visiting Pittsburgh on January 14-20, 2018. Mr. Ghavihelm is one of the best Iranian percussionists and Tombak players. He has performed with many great Persian musicians including the late legendary master M.R. Lotfi. 

On Thursday, January 18, 2018, Mr. Ghavihelm will be giving a presentation about the Persian percussion instruments especially the Tombak. His presentation will be at 2:30 PM at Carnegie Mellon University, College of Fine Arts, Room A2.
