Mendeley is a reference manager, academic collaboration network and crowdsourced database with a unique layer of social information research. Mendeley Desktop is available on Mac, Windows and Linux. Mendeley Web functions on all major browsers. Mobile versions of Mendeley are available for Ipad, Iphone and Android devices.
Carnegie Mellon University Libraries now subscribe to the Mendeley Institutional Edition (MIE). As CMU students, faculty, and staff, you can now use your Andrew ID to sign up and get MIE benefits.
If you already have an account, login to your Mendeley account, then upgrade and join our CMU's Mendeley group.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to enjoy the MIE benefits, you must register using a Carnegie Mellon email. If you have a Mendeley account with a non-CMU email, go to your Mendeley profile and change your email to a Carnegie Mellon email [email@example.com firstname.lastname@example.org], or name@"department".cmu.edu]. Once you have done that, you can upgrade using the link above.
What happens to my Mendeley content once I graduate or leave CMU?
Your account will remain active for a year after you graduate or leave CMU. If you are unable to join MIE under another institution, you will need to make sure that you exported your library in ris format so you can import it to another reference manager. Be advised that you will need to ensure compatible storage limits for successful file transfer.
What happened to the "find papers at your institution future" in Mendeley?

Here are instructions on how to do that:
