Accessing the Washington Post

Washington Post Digital Access
The CMU Libraries has partnered with The Washington Post to provide students, faculty, and staff with Digital Subscription access to The Washington Post online and on all apps. Content includes: unlimited digital access to WashingtonPost.com, real-time Q&A discussions, Live-streaming of Washington Post Live events, and more. Coverage includes the past 15 years of content. To access, sign in with your Andrew ID email and click verify email through your CMU email after registering.

Visit https://www.washingtonpost.com
Click "Sign in" in the upper right-hand corner (not subscribe)
1. If you already have a WashingtonPost.com account using your CMU email address, first log in from the WashingtonPost.com home page and proceed to step 4
After clicking the sign-in link, enter your @andrew.cmu.edu email address and choose a password. Click "create account"
Once you have been redirected to the homepage after creating your account, click on your name in the upper right-hand corner to display the Menu. Click Account Settings
If your email address is unverified, click to be sent a verification email (See screenshots below for example)
After clicking the link in the verification email, your free digital access will be activated
