Our catalog's Journal and Newspaper Search shows both print and online subscriptions available in our collection. It also displays the specific years you can access for each publication.

If you are working remotely, follow these instructions to connect from off campus to ensure access to all library resources.

The New York Times Content

The CMU-Q Library offers faculty, students, and staff access to the online version of The New York Times via a group pass to NYTimes.com. 

To activate your group pass, please follow these steps:

Students: Access lasts until December 31st of your graduation year.

Faculty/Staff: Access lasts for 4 years at which time you must re-authenticate.

If you previously registered for an account, click Already have an account. If your account has expired, you will receive a validation e-mail; click it to restore your subscription.

The Washington Post Content

The CMU-Q Library offers faculty, students, and staff unlimited digital access to The Washington Post while logged in to the CMU-Q network.

While on campus, simply access the following website: https://www.washingtonpost.com/regional/

Note that you will not see any CMU-Q branding, and that ads and offers for personal subscriptions will still be visible. However, you can read as many articles as you like without hitting a paywall.
