Academic Video Online (Avon)
Academic Video Online is the most comprehensive video subscription available to libraries. It delivers more than 67,000 titles spanning the widest range of subject areas including anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, music, and more. Database Guide. Titles are also available in the Alexander Street Academic Video Online platform.
Docuseek Complete Collection
Provides remote access to ~2,400 exclusive documentaries covering a broad spectrum of topics.
Electronic Arts Intermix (EAI) Educational Streaming
Provides access to almost 2,000 titles by 65 artists from EAI's collection of new and historical media artworks. Also includes artists’ biographies, texts on the works, bibliographies, archival documents, supporting media, essays, and more.
Kanopy Streaming Service
An on-demand streaming video service which provides access to educational titles, including award-winning documentaries, training films and theatrical releases - on a very wide range of topics. Kanopy titles are licensed from such major educational producers and distributors as PBS, BBC, Criterion Collection,and the Media Education Foundation.
Stash Permanent Collection
Stash provides streaming access to the planet's largest online video archive of design, animation, and VFX – over 5,000 motion projects – plus behind the scenes features and exclusive interviews.
Swank Digital Campus

Swank Digital Campus provides colleges and universities with a legal streaming alternative for both on and off-campus.
Video Data Bank (VDB) Streaming
Launched in 2024 by Video Data Bank at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, VDB Streaming offers access to VDB's vast collections of video art and experimental moving image work. The streaming platform offers access to individual titles, curated compilations and subscriptions for large portions of the VDB's collections.

Media Collection

The DVD and Blu-ray collection is shelved on the second floor of Hunt Library. Media can be borrowed for 14 days with 1 renewal. The Libraries also lends DVD players. To request new video purchases for courses or research, contact the Jill Chisnell or Lauren Calloway.

Access to the media collection room and viewing equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ask for the room key at the Hunt Library circulation desk on the first floor.
