Go to Google Calendar and login with your CMU Google account
Select "Create" and from the drop down menu choose "Event"
Under "Add Title" Please write your name.
Using the event creation dialog box, select the date and time for your booking. Note: you cannot book study rooms more than two hours per day.
Next, in the event creation dialog box will appear. In this box select "Add Rooms"
In the search bar provided, type the number of the library study room you would like to book. The library study rooms are 1153 and 1155. If the room is available it will appear in the results. Click on the link to the room if it is available.
With the room selected hit the back button, the small arrow pointing left, to return to the main dialog box.
If the room was available, click Save using the "Save" box on the bottom right corner.
Congratulations you have booked a study room! Assuming your booking is for 2 hours or less, you will receive an email notification shortly.

If the time you wanted was NOT available you can select the "Find a time" link, to see where your calendar and the room calendar match.
Alternatively you can select another room to book by going back to what is now called "Add or change rooms" and trying with 1155.
Finally, if your booking is allowed, you will receive an email confirmation. Otherwise the room will show up in your calendar as having a strikethrough and you will be notified via email.
