List of projects that the temporary employees worked on during March 2025:

• In early March, temps transferred GV (entertainment, leisure, sports) from HL3 to HL2.  There were approx. 500 books. Transfer required minimal time, less than 2 hours.  Terrence changed the Alma location field for the GVs from STACKS-3 to STACKS-2 (HL2). 

• Two temps shifted part of the A & B sections of STACKS-2 in order to empty the eight bays between HL214 and Staff Lounge. Shannon M. removed shelving and wall was painted. 

• Beginning on 2/20/2025, temps transferred LP Collection (13,000) located on HL4 (Music Listening Office) to Offsite. Project consisted of pulling items, processing items, and packing items to go to Offsite. Project completed on 3/12/2025 (3 weeks). 

• On 3/12/2025, temps emptied music from cabinets in Music Listening Office, approx. 3,669 items. Per email from K. Heath on 3/10/25, music can be discarded. 

• During March, Hunt Library Relocation Subcommittee met to discuss moving HL3 collection to HL2.  Members of Relocation Subcommittee are C. Kiger Price, J. Chisnell, K. Heath, R. Splenda, A. Perrier and G. Henning. Jill is considering moving some of the following STACKS-4 orphans down to HL2 (HL4 Sections and number of shelves: 

P-PN1559: 2 shelves

PN3311-PZ: 8 shelves

Q-S: 1 shelf

SD-TP: 9 shelves

TS-ZA: 7 shelves

Total: 27 shelves to relocate to HL2.

Additional note:  The SBs occupy 10 shelves. New SBs currently go to HL4. Jill would like to discuss with Lynn before including this range. Jill also needs to talk to Ashley about weeding the P ranges.

• Temps unpacked boxes (200 boxes) at Offsite on Friday (3/14) and Friday (3/21).

As of 3/24, there are 100 “D” boxes remaining to be unpacked; boxes contain LPs.

• On 3/24/2025, the temps began transferring the laserdisc collection from HL2 Video Collection to Offsite, approximately 600 items. Project will be completed by end of March 2025.
